MY VIDEO LOGS & JOURNAL
After breakfast & hangover from good old Ned Nedderjacks, we began our way around the Dingle Peninsula or what is the famous "Ring of Dingle" towards the town. The views along this route were simply spectacular and the roads, well the roads we narrow. We're talking 1 lane with 2 lane traffic people....on the sides of cliffs. All the Guinness I had the night before decided to remind me throughout the drive and the fog, don't forget about the fog, one of Ireland's most permanent features.
There were some pull over spaces carved into the hillside and we took the opportunity to stretch the legs. It was at this time we both came to the realization that we had underestimated how cold it was going to be on our trip. Do not underestimate the wind lol. Sierra wasn't making that face because she was mad, it was because we we're cold as hell.
It was a bit nerve racking as you could find yourself reversing hundreds of meters to get to a pull over point to allow another car through. Guinness trucks don't play around, they've got Guinness to deliver for god sakes. Imagine, an Irish pub with no Guinness, the consequences! Finally we reach Dingle on the Route Map, one of the coolest places in the Republic. The Peninsula really does provide some great scenery.

Once we finally reached the town there was a bustle of activity, parking was rough but honestly we were as happy as two pigs in mud at that point. It was fun to walk from the neighborhood towards the coastal town center.
The town actually felt big since we had just come from Castlegregory but it still only had a population of about 2,000. It is a very big tourist destination so this probably boosted the numbers a bit further. A number of art galleries, shops, restaurants, and of course pubs were scattered throughout.
We walked down to the working harbor to see some of the fishing ships and people coming in and out. Some of those sailors are a scary though, at least the one that gave me directions. Friendly but scary lookin. Finally we stopped by some of the famous pubs in the town. It actually had quite a few of the most famous pubs in Ireland to include Dick Macks, Murphy's, and O'Flaherty's. Took a short video inside O'Flaherty's. It was a truly authentic place and the Irish coffee was spectacular. Here's a rundown of the top pubs in Dingle for your planning pleasure, enjoy.
